Use "STR" command in CAD command line to launch main application dialog:

Material
Choose predefined material or set your own values. Predefined materials are in N/mm/MPa unit system.

Profile
Choose predefined profile or choose your own profile by selecting shape from drop-down menu (Rectangle, Rectangle_tube, Circle, Cirle_tube) and setting size values:

W | profile width
H | profile height
Th | wall thickness (for tubes)

Wall thickness is set to 0 for filled profiles.

Assign material and profile
Assigns material and profile values to entities selected in the drawing. Line entities are supported.

Construction blocks
Entites are converted to blocks after material and profile values are assigned. These values are saved as block attributes. List of blocks is displayed in dialog text field as "Material shape widht/height/thickness".

Display block details
Displays selected block attributes and allows their modification. Atribute modification is also possible directly inside CAD drawing with EATEDIT command (called e.g. by double-click on the block).

Select block
Block selected inside a texfield is selected in the drawing as well. Use Esc or Enter key to end the command.

Delete block
Selected block will be erased. Howevere its definition stays in drawing database.

Insert support
Inserts construction support block and calls dialog to set its attributes. Block insertion point has to coincide with supported point on the structure.

Insert edge load
Inserts edge load block and calls dialog to set its values. Block insertion point has to coincide with edge midpoint.

Insert nodal load
Inserts nodal load block and calls dialog to set its values. Block insertion point has to coincide with loaded point on the structure.

Insert hinge
Inserts hingr connection. Block insertion point has to coincide with point on the structure.

Vertical Axis
Sets vertical axis for dead-weight load direction. Set material density to 0 to analyze without dead-weight load.

Deformations scale
Sets a scale for grafical deformations' display.

Conditions scale
Sets a display scale for newly inserted support and load blocks.

Reactions scale
Sets a display scale for reactins on supports. When set to 0 reactions are not displayed.

Mesh size
Sets mech segment size used via analysis pre-processing. Smaller size results in larger number of segments and longer calculation time.

Delete results
Delets results displayed in the drawing.

Analyze
Press to launch calculation.

Cancel
Dialog window is closed without performing calculation.


It is possible to modify and copy supports and load blocks directly in the drawing in usual user style. Use EATEDIT command to modify block attributes:

Supports

Set direction and momentum attributes to 1 or 0.

Edge loads

Set values for load directions and momentums.

Nodal loads

Set values for load directions and momentums.
